It's Done

Shockingly I finished my recording project right on time. I laid down the last vocal tracks (gave up on getting better ones) this morning and mixed it on my car stereo. I'm going to buy CDs tomorrow and make a limited run of 25 copies with super special handmade packaging. If you want one just come talk to me, I'm not gonna charge anything but thought it would be sweet to exchange them for some small creative/artistic thing you made if you want to do that. And since I know you're all dying to know here's the track list...

Recording Update

So far I've realized I am a terrible drummer and I haven't even started putting vocals down yet, I did however manage to fix a second mic with some duct tape and I do have 3 tracks beginning to take shape. I'm trying to figure out what other songs/fragments will fit with the vibe of the record which is sorta reverbed out garage-pop at this point. I also need to stop writing songs that revolve around C to A- changes. The plan is still for the EP which is now tentatively titled "State's Prison Hollow" to be done by the end of the week, and with that goal in mind I'm going to get back to the basement...

My plan for spring break...

I'm going to record an EP in my basement. I have some song fragments that have been kicking around for a while but will have to write and arrange more as I go along. I plan on doing everything myself, so expect some seriously lo-fi/just plain shitty sounding vocals, piano, and drums. So far the track list includes versions of a couple pieces from Catfüd Panda (the band) and some totally new material. If everything goes according to plan it should be available in limited edition handmade packaging when I get back to school on the 15th.
